heater blower on peugeot expert van?

how can i increase the power of the heater blower on my peugeot expert van
when i start the van the blower starts but if i want to increase the air flow it stays at the same amount of flow the fan will not go faster
the controls dont seem to do anything

Hi I have just had my heater blower changed in my Citreon Dispatch, same van as yours and I found out from the garage that an internal resistor fitted to the blower itself is responsible for the speed. Only cure is to replace the entire fan mine cost 35 FROM A BREAKERS YARD.

there is a plug under the passenger side footwell if that is unplugged the heater will be on permanant but you wont be able to control the speed make sure the connectors are together.
