washer leaves everthing covered in fluff. had the pump off thats not blocked .guy in shop says you can get filter for some modles but not ours?

Whirpool spinning thing inside bangs against the walls during the spin cycle and a minor odor of burning rubber coming from the inside of the door.

Hi Andrea, our machine has the same problem, i was hoping someone out there has thw answer, i see your request was a few years ago, i have just run the machine empty on cold cycle a few times, and also tipped clean water in where the fabric softener goes,also i let it half fill with hot water and cleaned around the top of the drum, as ithere was a film of powder/softener.
