my r/rover has developed a niggling fault . The injector warning light flashes now and again . On three occasions the light came on bright , the engine dies for about 5 seconds max , then it picks up and everything is OK . anyone out there got any idea what it could be . Thanks

have the engine fusebox checked out first ... better if replaced (along with new fuses and relays).

it maybe that the injector timing is off, but an engine cut-out is rare. fuel pump/line may have something to do with it. bring it to a specialist - injectors and pump are bosch so a bosch service center is the way to go.

After a lot of research I gathere it's definitely the injection pump ;-( So not cheap.

I have the same problem on my manual 2.5TD
