How can I fix a windscreen washer pump on a Citroen C3?

Usual story:
Icy morning, impatient driver waiting to clear screen with screenwash, motor/pump blows.
No screenwash since then.
Have bought new pump, now need to replace old one.
Any clues?

yes its a 10amp fuse in the box next to the battery
