can i wax my pergo floor?

I want a better shine on my floor can I wax it?
Marlyn Landin, May 2008
They say not use a wax but they used to put out a product that made it shine and I cannot find it now

Some years ago we had a polished wood staircase which was very slippy. Just to give it a try I used a product made by Johnsons called Kleer (not clear) it was terrific, shiny but not slippy. Since then I have used it on terracotta tiles and laminate flooring; it's so easy to apply - you just wipe it on, leave for about 15minutes to dry and the shine stays. Hope it's of interest.
