I was on the internet downloading some things.
I must have picked up some virus, now my computer wont reboot. it say windows need to close, but the screen just freeze and it wont close.
Can you help me as i dont know alot about computers

my sister-n-law has windows 98 on her computer can she use her operating disk to reboot her computer.

You don't mention what operating system you're using but if you have the original disk, as soon as you turn on your computer open the CD drive and put the disk in. If it doesn't load then turn it off and restart it with the disk in the drive. If it asks you to start from the CD answer "yes". It will check your system and find that windows is already loaded. Check "repair" that should get things back for you. It is different for many computers so if this doesn't work post a new question giving more information on your computer like, make, model and what operating system you're using. Windows (what version?) linex etc. I'll try to watch for new posts
