What's causing the "AL7" code on My AEG OKO Favorit 64800?

My AEG 64800 dishwasher is showing the AL7 code. I've tried to clear it by turning it on and off but no luck. Does anyone know what's caused it and is there anyway for me to mend it myself - I'm fairly competent at stuff like this.

Model: AEG Dishwasher, OKO Favorit 64800 (UK model)

Many thanks to all

Just fixed mine with the same problem. It was the main pump not running but not a pump fault. The main control board had a burned out connection. Removed the circuit board (behind the control buttons) spotted the blackened connection on the underside of the circuit board, cleaned and re-soldered. Fixed.

It is something blocking the pump, or the pump has failed. you cant dismantle the pump without damaging it but you can remove it, shine a light up the hole and lever any debris out with a screwdriver

This isn't an answer, just to say that I have exactly the same problem with my machine. Don't know what the e number is.

I rang a repair firm, who said that they are not able to find out what these fault codes mean - said that the manufacturers are possessive about the information. I rang the main agent who were unhelpful and unwilling to visit at any time when I was not at work!!!!

That's what it says on the machine and the manual - its also been discontinued I've just disovered. Only three years old as well!
