Have Aqualisa changed their pump design for the Aquastream?

We've got a 97-03 Aquastream and the pump's had it. We bought a new one from a local supplier.

Although the new one has the right title (Aquastream Mark2) and exploded diagram on the sheet of paper that came with it, the pump design seems different, to the extent that the electrical connectors at the top are different

This is the old one, still in situ where you can see there is one wire on the left and two on the right, front & back

and this is the new one

So does anyone know if this is a valid replacement pump & how do I handle the wiring change?

Thanks

To answer my own question, the wires which previously clipped in with a male (neg on the pump I believe) & female (pos on the pump) spade connector, direct to the pump, now mate to the corresponding connectors at the end of the blue wires on the new design.
