why do i see blue patches on my tv?

why has my panasonic tv got blue shading down edges could it be magnetic sheilding?

yes. If you have put speakers which are not magnetically shielded against your tv. Move them. To get rid of the blue spots, turn tv off at mains for about 10 minutes.
