how can i fix my renault laguna?

how can i stop water leaking in through the bottom of both rear doors in heavy rain ? the car is a renault laguna 2Lt RT on an n reg.

the other answer is cr*p!!!!!!
the mk1 renault laguna has (in renos words) a water ingress problem. this is caused by heat distorting the rear door seals and allowing water to pass through in the little channel at the bottom of the door on the kick plate the only way to stop this is

1) replace the seals with the new modified seals from reanult which cost about £60 for both

2)use silicone to fill the little channel

ps anymore questions i will be happy to help

Water will naturally run in down past the windows. Chances are that the water proof seal has a hole in it. Take off the door panel, and you will see a sheet of flexible material hiding all the workings of the door. It should be sealed all the way around. Seal any gaps with a bit of silicone or other adhesive and replace the door panels.
