How can I fix the noisy spin cycle on Magic Chef washer?

When the washing machine has a medium to full size load, the spin cycle causes the basin to violently bang against the sides of the washer. Usually some wet clothes must be removed to lighten the load and the remaining clothes must be redistributed evenly. Is there something I can do to fix this myself or should I just buy a new one?

get someone in to check your drum bearings, they will probably need replacing. If you continue to use it (as we did)it will end up irrepairable
