I am afraid that your question as is stands is not answerable .

What do you mean by: "the router is locked so that no one can use it" ? You appear to be using it. Who locked it?

As to: "i dont know how to access it." all routers are different. What is the router? Who is your ISP?

If the router has MAC address filtering, (who told you that it has this?) you need to enter the MAC address into the router NOT your laptop.

Normally all you need to do is click on the WiFi Icon on your son's laptop, choose the SSID of your router from the pop up box, enter the encryption key (if encryption is set) and bingo. What happens if you try this?
