my shower knob which turn on the shower wouldnt work so i took the frount off too see what the matter was but it fell to bits on me and i cant get it back together

Without make and model details listed, I would say that your stuck. Sorry, I would advise you contact the manufacturer for a users manual, they may be able to e.mail this as a PDF to you, hopefully it will contain the information you'll need to re-assemble your shower.
