I am receiving emails with the VLC [ orange and white pylon] that will not open. I tried changing them to open with internet explorer but they still wont open

Hi You need VLC Player,type it into google and Follow the link and download it , its free and quite usefull , be carfull as it will try to establish itself as your default player which I think is a pain, (I think it stands for virtual Lan Codec) or something like that. it will work (been there done that).
