Does anyone know if I can get my daughter's Nintendo DS mended? My son stood on it and the plastic on the hinge is all smashed. The console still works properly but there is no rigidity to the hinge whatsoever, so the top screen just flops around. The inner workings are fine, it's just a plastic "hardware" problem. I think we might just have to save up for another one......

you can get different coloured cases off ebay for around £15 - you will need a special tri screw driver again from ebay, you have to change the complete housing and swop it across, its fiddley but can be done, take it slowly
