I have a Bosch Exxcel 1200 (WF0246GB) which is not spinning. The drain and hoses are clear. Everything else is working fine. - The drum rotates both directions and water is pumped out. On entering the spin cycle (11 minutes) the drum rotates back and forth for a minute or so, then the timer changes to 0 minutes and the machine thinks the cycle is finished.

On inspection the brushes were very worn. On replacing, this has fixed the problem, which surprised me as only the spin cycle was affected (brief spins on other cycles was working fine and had not been a problem).

So .. thank you for your reply and advice. Problem solved and expensive call out avoided. Thank you!
