Blomberg dishwasher motor runs but nothing happens?

Blomberg dishwaser DTW 15220 less than one year old. The drain impeller assembly had a piece of glass in it - making noise. I removed it, checked for damage, just a little scarring. replaced it and put it back together. When I turn it on, the motor runs but no water or other action takes place. Water is turned on. It will drain if I pour water into the tub, but the wash cycle won't begin. I've cycled the unit on and off and reset the cycles, but when the power switch is turned on, it just makes a sound like the main pump motor is running but nothing else happens

I didn't remove the drain motor, just opened it to remove the glass. I initially checked the hoses going to the main water pump as well. In the process, a green (grounding?) wire came loose and I thought it came from the pump motor since there was a spade connector on the side and the length seemed to be right so I attached it. Could this wire be causing motor to run whenever just the power is on. Is there a wiring schematic available somewhere?

When you got the glass from the drain impellar did you do this by removing the drain motor?
