How do I replace the seal on my Ariston freezer?????

I have the same question any ideas? There are no screws that i can see but i was told on this model the seal is replaceable. The old one is fixed I am not sure if its glued do i need to cut it off with a stanley and re glue on the new one?

hi,

I was facing the same problem myself but after a courageous attempt I succeedeed. Do NOT use a stanley knife to cut away the rubber seal!! All you have to do is start from the top outermost corner and start pulling out the rubber seal by tucking your fingers on the inside and gently pull out the rubber seal with your other hand from the top. Proceed by removing the rest of the gasket starting from the top towards the hinge down by the edges, the underneath and the outermost edge. This leaves you with a bit of clearance between the white plastic casing on the inside of the door and the door itself. Insert the new gasket by inserting the solid dark grey part in between the plastic and the door and work around by firmly pressing the gasket in place as you move along. Repeat this process in the same manner the old seal was removed. It is very important to make sure that you remove the old gasket intact. If it tears along the process ensure that you remove the torn parts by using a screw driver to slowly lift the plastic casing. Good luck!!
