My Humax 9200T has started to slow down and even freeze when I'm watching BBC 1 or BBC 2. If you select the EPG or Recorded Programmes whilst watching BBC 1 or BBC 2 the box reacts very slowly. If you're not very patient you will assume it has frozen. Eventually the EPG or Recorded Programmes list appears. This doesn't happen if you are watching other channels. It doesn't happen on my other box, a Sagem unit. Is there something about the BBC's broadcast which is causing this? Does anyone know if Humax will issue a software update?

Try doing the complete re-installation as recommended during digital switchover. It's what I'm going to try tomorrow. Mine is freezing also and slowing down, but I haven't noticed on which channels. digitalspy.co.uk and digitaluk have instructions. Good Luck!

This humax was discontinued being made in 2008. there are no updates for this model unfortunately you will have to buy a new one.
