My 1999 Hyundai Lantra GSi turns over (cranks) but will not fire. Any Ideas?

My 1999 Hyundai Lantra GSi turns over (cranks) but will not fire. On two earlier occasions it delayed firing before actually starting, but now although it turns over very strongly it just will not fire. A faulty coil pack has been suggested, but could anything else be causing this and how best to check out possible causes. Many Thanks

obviously check for a spark on all four cylinders ,then check getting fuel to plugs (should smell of petrol and be wet ) then if they are ok only airflow meter to check and crank sensor my betting is on fuel
