electric cookers?

I have a delonghi dfs 903 and it all just went dead, nothing ,no lights, no ignition, nowt, then the wife moved the bottom element and and it fired up but the elements broken in two places and the oven didnt stay on , will every thing stop woking just because the element is damaged ?

you need to replace the broken element, with a new one of the same power, , turn off all the power in your home , when removeing the element , and make the wireing safe after you element, take it off and keep the wireing away from the cooker body , and dont turn on the over that has the missing element , on till you get a new one at the hardware, put the wireing back to the new element as it was on the brokeing one , . keep the power off when working on it , everything has stopped because the fuse has blown at the main bord , or it has triped back at the board , you need to reset the trip switch , or replace the fuse , but make the wireing at the bad element safe first , or it will blow again , then you can use the rest of the cooker , (make sure you have all the power off ) when your working on it ....
