My sky digibox is stuck in standby. I've tried unplugging it for 10 minutes and re-connecting to re-boot but it stays in standby using the on-box switch or the remote. The box acknowledges remote signals but still stays in standby. Before this happened it was reporting no signal on screen but in 'services' menu a good signal.
Is it fixable (electronic engineering background) with my soldering iron and Avo, or should I float test it?

Power supply problem Keefer.....Grandata or Satcure for upgrade kit....all these machines have poor quality capacitors in the power supply and these can cause the no sat signal problem as well. Upgrading the power supply can cure a lot of problems.....hope this helps
