There is water under my freezer. ?

I have Hotpoint Iced Diamond Freezer and there is regularly water undeneath it. It seems to be freezing OK although some items seem to get frosted up. There is no water inside the freezer. What could cause the leak underneath?

take a look at the rear bottom of the fridge, you are looking for the compressor.on top of the compressor you will see a tray.make sure the tray is corectly seated on the compressor(level) inspect for damage and cracks.this tray known as the evaporator tray is where water collects from the drainage chanel from the fridge.make sure the blk rubber pipe is connected to the evap tray ,as water is fed from the fridge through the blk rubber pipe and collected in the evap tray,.the contents of the tray is evaporated from the heat generated by the compressor.if you are getting white frosty powder on the freezer items, then this is a sign of a problem with the door seal ,either split or basically dirty,.if you have too much ice build up then make sure the two setting slide switch is in the left position.top right left of the green/red lights.pay particular attention to the blk rubber pipe it should be fitted to the bottom of the fridge outside compartment and fitted to the evap tray.check this pipe also for blockages and splits.
