Electrical problem Ford Ka?

My Ford Ka battery keeps going flat. I fit a new battery and it still does the same, even when the engines running on a long journey - all electrics go off starting with the cd , then heated reart screen etc then car comes to a stop with no electrics at all and the batterys flat. when this first happened I charged the battery and it was ok for two months, now I have got to the stage where I have to charge battery every couple of days, how do I trace where the powers draining from?

I had this problem with my car. It sounds like the alternator belt has come off or is damged, therefore, there wont be anything charging your battery properly.

I had this problem with my 55 reg Ka as i was in the process of removing the alternator to get it reconditioned taking of part of the bumper right hand headlight drive belt ect i noticed one of the small wires going to the unit had corroded off managed to reconnect it car now runs fine no flickering lights or battery light apparently this is a common fault with the ford Ka i have been informed ford do a repair kit to fix this fault hope this helps Cheers the noo

My KA3 was fine on its last journey.Next morning the battery was almost totally flat.It would not bump off.Recharged the battery and all that happened when I tried to start it was the dash lights going dim and brighter and then a bit of clicking from under the battery area.Tried again to bump it off with a fully charged battery and nothing.
Attached jump leads and it still wouldnt start. The clicking noise comes from under the battery but I couldnt isolate it.
Im suspecting starter or alternator, any advice appreciated.

Have you checked that all the leads from the alternator are attached ?. If they are it sounds like your alternators had it, It`ll need checking to see if it`s duff or not.
