Honda Civic CDTI EX 2007 sat nav?

My Honda was recently involved in a front/drivers side collison. It's been repaired via the insurance company but I've now found that the sat nav/integrated navigation system isn't working. The map comes up initially and then a prompt comes up which says "DVD Disc reading error please consult your dealer". My insurance have said to get it looked at and if Honda confirm the fault could be as a result of the collison then they'll cover the costs. However, I've spoken to Honda who said they can't say it was definately the result of the collison, even though I confirmed it was working prior to the accident. Is it not possible for the jolt to cause the problem? Can you recommend anyone in the Merseyside area to have a look at it? Thanks
