My aeg Model D5701-5-M oven element is staying on when its turned off and i have to switch oven off at mains to shut it down i have had an engineer out and he has identified the part pcb 3117734008 but it is obselete. is it repairable or can anybody direct me to someone who may have one sat on a shelf

there is a bank of relays and one will have a welded contact.sometimes you can remove the plastic tops and clean the relay contacts or replace with a new relay

Alternatively a workshop electronics engineer may well be able to diagnose and repair your broken one - all the components on it will be easily available and cost little more than 50p each.
