Why does my beko fridge keep freezing my food. ?

I have a beko fridge freezer. It ices up at the back of the fridge on the top half only and it freezes my food in the fridge. What could be the problem? I've only had it for two years.

Sound like a fault with the thermostat or circuit board if it has one thats what i found out when we had a service company out and they rectified they only do the london and surrey area though if your near give them a call www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk

Thanks Peccavi for the information. I've tried moving the temperature up to 3 and its still freezing my food. Do you think I should raise the temperature to 4/5 or slightly higher?

I would appreciate any advice to help resolve this annoying problem.

Thanks

this sounds like a gas issue if only the top part of the fridge back wall is showing any signs of icing up.I have had a sensor issue cause the same issue

You have the temperature setting too low - that's all.

The plate at the back is the coldest place and if you have stuff up against or close to it then the stuff risks being frozen.

My fridge is set to run at +5 degrees and yet small beads of ice form on the back plate - then they're automatically melted every so often.

The top of a fridge is the coldest - vegetables and salads which prefer to be stored at about +10 usually have a special drawer at the bottom where the air is warmer.

Store meats on the upper shelf but not touching the cooling plate. Set the fridge temperature a bit higher.
