howcan i get a oldvtech mouse to work on laptop?

I just bought a old vetch mouse at goodwill how can or will I be able to get it to work?

Is it a USB or a PS2 mouse?

Is it's a USB model, just connect it to any available USB port.

If it's a PS2 mouse and the laptop don't have such a connector (most don't), you just can't use that mouse.

Much will depend on your skills and application. But before the question can be answered you must - as a minimum - make an attempt.

It will either work or not work. Then - if it doesn't work you can attempt to diagnose the problem and decide if a repair is possible.

I think - by asking this question here - in the way you do - that there's a touch of laziness in your approach to the mouse.

Be aware that in the UK a mouse can be had from Amazon for £1.50 (US$2.4).

Is it worth the effort?

Good luck...
