Zanussi ZDF290X cooker clock doesn't work?

I have just moved into my new home which has a built-in Zanussi ZDF290X cooker. I can't set the time on the clock. It flashes continually at 12:00 and when I try to set the time using the + or - buttons it only moves a few minutes before going back to 12:00 again. Any thoughts?

buttons faulty in that case on the clock.pull the buttons off and use a cocktail stick to press button.Failing that new clock or bypass it

I tried that and it still does the same. I still have the manual and can't see any other way of setting the clock.

Switch off at the wall for 30min then switch it on.clock will flash then follow instructions I gave you.Manuals are downloadable for free from www.serviceforce.co.uk

Hi. I pressed the - button and the Selector Control Button together then the started to press the + button to set the time. The clock displayed 1.7 then went blank and there was a continuous beep. The only way I could stop this was by de-selecting all the buttons then pressing anyone of them again. The beep stopped and it just went back to flashing 12:00 again.

press and hold the other 2 buttons in whilst using the + and - buttons to set time.once time set let go of the 2 buttons.job done
