replacing bulb in fridge freezer?

Hi the light has gone in my Samsung Fridge Freezer model RL41WGIS. The manual say contact engineer - is it really that difficult or technical ?? Help please.

One reviewer of the bulb described it as a Krypton Factor excerise to get the cover back on her RL41WGIS, while some others said it was easy to fit but did not specify if it was the exact same fridge/freezer model.

Don't know about your particular fridge but with a lot of them the cover is only held in by a crosshead screw.Turn fridge off, remove screw and it will probably have a 'Pigmy' bulb in it,you can get them at any DIY store, they make a special 'Pigmy' bulb for fridges(it tells you on the pack)that is longer lasting to cope with the vibration and excessive number of times it goes on and off,but a standard one will do.Don't be afraid to have a look to see how to remove the cover and do it yourself, you don't need an engineer to change a bulb.
