The ceramic fitting in the oven light assembly of my Neff oven U15M42.0GB has broken so I cannot fit the bulb. It seems I need to replace the whole assembly. I have found a supplier but I can't find instructions on how to remove the assembly ( without taking the oven out of it's integral unit) . It looks like I might be able to 'flick' it out just like a ceiling spot light but I am too chicken to give it a go without some advice , anyone out there able to tell me what to do ?

Your model no is incomplete..... if the light is in the right rear corner or the centre of the roof it has spring steel tags that hold it in place as you push it in the hole. Easiest way to release tags is to remove the oven and and get to the other side of the light fitting and force them to retract. Quickest way is to wreck the fitting by forcing the tags from inside the oven, as you are replacing it it doesn't matter. ISOLATE FROM POWER SUPPLY OF COURSE BEFORE WORKING ON IT>
