my whirlpool wfs1273bd is showing error meassage F6. ?

& is not rotating or spinning.It fills but then stops with this F6 I have checked filter. Hubby is handy but isn't here at the moment. I thankyou for assistance as I have large family & lots & lots of washing to do for school & work on Monday.
