What do you mean by "The drum has gone" - Had the drum itself failed (split, come apart, etc)?
Or do you mean the drum bearings have gone (Usually accompanied by lots of noise especially when the machine is spinning).
In either case, its probably Game Over fo rthe machine. If the drum has disintegrated, it will involve major surgery and drum bearings can be a pig.
What warranty was offered with the machine? Often depends on from where you bought it but you MAY strike lucky.
