Hi Dave, You may find that along with your speed and engine cut out problem, that the reversing light is also not working? If this is the case, there may be a problem with the wire or wiring that runs to the reversing light switch. Seperate the specific wiring loom that runs from the engine bay fuse box to the reverse light switch and play close attention to the blue wire, it may be broken. Naturally you'd have first checked the fuses to see if any have blown.
