Fob not locking or unlocking doors?

We have LDV Maxus and fob will not lock or unlock doors. Changed the battery but nothing! Fob lights up. Reg.no. BX56 JGU if this helps.

It may be that the fob needs synching or programming again. Should be easy enough to find how with a search
