Since posting yesterday, have found out that it gets half way through rinse cycle and water level is too low to cover the element and heat up and trip the thermostat which we know to be working. Any ideas what to do next?

when u close the door on my dish washer nothing is working but if u just move the door handle a little bit it starts to work then it stops thanks

have you tried flusing out with well known de-scaler shown on tv.

residual gease collects over time in the pipes underneath the appliance, where all of the circulation pipes are, if your pots have been coming out not as clean as you would like, blast a couple of sachets of de-scaler through.

READ packet instructions first..do with machine empty

this might sovle your prolem as it sounds like a pressure/circulation fault
