Shredder was jammed. Unblocked it but still will not work?

I have an electric shredder that blocked. I have taken out all the paper and you can hear the motor working but the cogs?? will not turn.

Any ideas please

The main cog (gear) has (1) stripped 'tooth'.
It's the large plastic gear and most likely to
brake a 'tooth' off.

I have the same problem, one of the cogs is stripped in one side. I have emailed the company that made the shredder, Fellows, but they told me as it was out of warranty they could not help. Some one must sell them the cogs to make the things so why not sell one to me?

I had the same problem and took it apart to find one of the cogs had broken the plastic one. I need to replace it but do not know where to go for another one, can you advise me where to go for cogs and where you can get them.

If it can be safely taken apart, it is worth checking that the motor is still connected via either the belt or cogs. It could have thrown the belt. It could be the cogs are not now touching or that one has cracked.

Maybe you've blown the fuse or burnt out the motor.
