My synergy 2150 worked fine for ages - now it will not display name/number when someone phones (on any of the 3 handsets). It just displays External.

I am not sure if my son may have changed something, but I can't find anything in the user manual to switch it on/off.

Can anyone help?

The same thing happened to my phone, I've been told by BT that it is a faulty base station. I can't find any where that supplies new base stations with out the hand sets which is a shame as there is nothing wrong with them.

As it doesn't refer to anything like it in the user manual [incedently if you go on to www.bt.co.uk/userguides you can get a download of your manual incase you mislay the one you've got] It's probably some thing simple. I would say unplug the power/charger packe from the base unit and remove the batteries and leave them out for 1/2 hr and see if it resets itself but I don't know if you would lose your listings.
Other than that I can only suggest contacting the BT helpline on 0845 602 1041.
