WHY DOES MY SHOWER DRIP?

My classic Aqualisa shower drips continiously, although turned off. A plumber has installed several new parts, but it is still dripping from the shower head. "Help me please"

The chances are that your cartridge has been scored by detrius through the water pipes. You probably have a ceramice cartridge. this works by two ceramic disks whit v's cut into them that synconise by rotating when the shower is switched on, thereby opening the water flow. If one of the ceramic discs gets scored, the shut off doesn't work properly, hence dribble out of the shower head. Aqualiser replacement cartirges are about £ 100 incl. VAT.
