I started XP setup & changed my mind (cancelled). Now when I boot up I have options for XP setup & windows (ME) Can I remove setup without restoring system. Tried restoring with system tools/system restore ME... no restore points.

If you choose ME, does it still boot fine?
If so, then you can manually remove the 2nd Win Setup boot option.
(Be careful here)

From a dos prompt, type
notepad c:\boot.ini

Under the [operating systems], remove the undesired option.
If you don't understand this, have someone who does do it for you.
