My washer stopped working just when it should drain. I emptied it from the bottom valve/pipe/tap and it started up again. Not for long. Once again when it gets to drain it just clicks and stops. Its an Ariston AWD 12s.

i removed the cover on the front, removed the "filter", and put my finger inside. i could feel a coin. i tipped the macine onto its' back (not sure if this is a good idea)removed the pipe and found a £2 coin blocking the drain. removed it, and it was fine, until the other day - the drier packed in. Any ideas?

I removed the pump, took it apart and removed a stuck hair clip - problem solved and easy too.
