I had the same thing. On taking the machine apart I find the belt shredded around the motor shaft. ERR code apparently was 50 accoriding to the other half. It's a bit of a job to get to but I am very dissapointed with the lack of technical info.

As an engineer, I noticed that the belt jockey wheel can move some 6 mm which is totaly unacceptable.

Can I find anywhere to complain to Zanussi. This is a fundamental design fault and any engineer who would put there name to this design should be shot.

I will leave it to Zanussi to prove me wrong. If they have a spacer to limit the play in the wheel then where do you go to get that information.

Astoshingly bad customer support.

I will not buy Zanussi again.

I'm going back to Bosch.

Zanussi Luminous Diffuser Diodes - is the correct name for the part that is broken, we just got a replacement part from espares.co.uk - (phone them its quicker)
you will need the following to order
Model number and PNC number (this can be found inside the front door of the machine or on the back)
£15 delivered

theres a clear plastic sort of framework behind the buttons... a bit like in an Airfix plastic plane kit, the plastic breaks & then the on/off doesnt work. Zanussi know its a fault on this model but did nothing about it, I packed ours out with some kitchen roll ( toilet tissue for big bums) in the back of the on/off button, it worked reliably until the electronics circuit board packed up ( another common fault on this model... replacement is £100+, & thats fitting it yourself!) If you ever get fault code E60 flash up, thats the circuit board.
I took ours to the tip yesterday & bought a Whirlpool vented dryer instead
