You are probably trying to open a file which your computer doesn't currently support. Codec's allow you to play files which have been encoded differently. You will have to download a set of codec's and install them on your computer. Try typing 'codec pack' on google and click one of the links; try to find a download link and download the file to your computer then double click the file to run it.
