I have a Virus that causes a Pop Up to appear sending me to a link. The Virus has disabled the ability to open System OPtions, Control Panel, etc. I have downloaded various anti-virus programs(AVG, Stinger) but they always come back clean. Anyone know what this virus is called and/or how to get rid of it?

Try as many software removal scanners as you can to find out the name, then if the scanner cannot remove it, you must do a google search for the manual removal.

Try running the virus software in 'safemode'.

Otherwise, try spyware removal tools
