Is there a reset button on Asko 7305 Dryer?

Is there a reset button on Asko 7305 Dryer?
Janet, November 2007
Thank you for this tip; it saved me a service call and buying a new dryer.

I will note for the world, though, that the reason mine tripped is because I washed the lint filter in water and put it back into the machine wet. One would think that the dryer would dry the screen, but the water blocked the air flow and allowed the dryer to overheat with lots of acrid black smoke exiting the dryer once I opened the door.

I've reset the switch and used the dryer several times -- all seems well, but DO NOT insert a WET lint screen back into the the machine!!

A little late for Janet, but yes there is, on the back of the machine, a black rubber cover which you push to reset the thermal cutout. Wait 'till it's cooled a little. If it trips repeatedly, don't ignore it, it's probably clogged with fluff, and as with all tumble dryers, that's a fire risk if allowed to get out of hand. If you are feeling for the button, it is near the dead centre of the rear of the machine, a little to the left and slightly below the nut that holds the drum's centre in it's bearing.
Hope this helps someone,
