creda condensor dryer cutting out, help please?

hi, i have a creda condensor dryer model no. t620cw. just recently when the dryer is switched on it runs for a few minutes and then cuts out. if allowed to cool it will start again but soon as it gets warm it will stop. i am thinking that maybe there is an overheat device that cuts the machine out if it gets too hot which has become too sensitive. am i on the right track? if so is it an easy repair (i have worked on washing machines and power tools but not dryers). i have cleaned all the filters and emptied the water container. thanks in advance for any help.

it doesn't have a toc which cuts it out . the toc is in the twin stat arrangement above the heater at the rear and is simply a one shot stat which fails and causes no heat to be produced this can only be replaced not reset , i have had a similar fault caused by the start relay behind the front console panel there was a fault on early versions of these so suggest you look into that , you can see it from the top if you remove the top panel , also have you checked your mains lead has not got a broken /chafed wire or moulded plug got a fault , all of these would cause symptoms ,not an overheat device
