my Vauxhall corsa b wont start I have checked the fuel pump and it works and I have checked the spark plugs and there is fuel spitting out of the holes where the plugs go but the car still wont start

I have nearly the same problem i have a 1.5d merit and i went to start it this morning to go to work. And once again it won't start. I put the key in the ignition and it won't do anything. I tried replacing the battery. Had all my fuses changed had my alternater checked i even put it through an early service to see if they could find the problem. They are as baffled as me. What can this be? Any idea's?

im haveing the same prob with my 1999 1.2 sxi (1.4 sport conversion) i was told it was down to electrical fault so iv replased the full wiring loom and ecu. but still have the prob,a friend of mine told me to check fuel pump and sure enough it not working, so il fix it later today. so if i was u ad check fuel pump and injectors first.

could be dead battery, blown fuse, not enough air, not enough fuel, no oil, ignition problems, dead spark plugs, bad spark gap, broken cambelt, or any belt to name but a few of the thousands of things that could cause a car to not start.
