been having some problems with my revs on a t reg mondeo some suggested disconecting my air flow meter didn't wanna do this if would cause other problems not even sure wot its ther for.got a haynes manual but dosen't really say much about it can u help please??????

Hi Morgan, if you disconnect the air flow meter the injection system will not know how much air is going into the engine and will not be able to calculate how much petrol to inject the engine might idle ok but it will not be driveable
