How do you bleed the air from a 1996 cavaliers cooling system?

is there a specific way to ensure that all the air is out, is there a bleeding valve?

There should be a bleed screw near the therm housing if not top off coolant and let car run till operating temp and let cool off ....then top off coolant ......
