how can i reset the central locking system?

i have a renault kangoo 665. recently if i press the key fob to lock my doors the driver side door stays open. is it possible to reset the system and how?

sit in car

press the central lock button on the cetre console for 5 seconds

the dash light will flash

now press your key fob

done

if it still persists it a dodgy lock
